The winter is officially over, making way for the blazing summer that lies ahead. And having a hot cup of coffee may not sound as tempting now as it did on cold winter mornings. And that’s why it’s time to get creative with your daily caffeine fix! Kickstart your summer days with these delightful cold brew coffee recipes.

1. Basic Cold Brew Coffee

Ingredients:

4 cups filtered water

1 cup coffee beans

1/2 cup cold milk

Sugar according to taste

4-5 ice cubes

Method:

Start by grinding the coffee beans to a medium-coarse consistency. Take a mason jar and add the ground coffee beans along with water in it. Then, let the mixture sit and steep for about 12-15 hours before using. Once the mixture has steeped, take a large bowl and strain the coffee through a sieve lined with cheesecloth. Add this mixture to a container for storing in the refrigerator. When you are ready to serve, take a tall glass filled with ice cubes and pour the coffee mixture into it. You can have it as it is or add some sweetened milk if you like.

2. Honey Cinnamon Iced Latte

Ingredients:

For the simple syrup:

3/4 cup water

1 and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

3/4 cup honey

3 cinnamon sticks

For serving:

Ice cubes

Cold brew coffee concentrate

Milk

A dash of ground cinnamon

Method:

Place a pan over medium heat and add the water, honey, and cinnamon sticks to it, and cook till the honey dissolves. Allow the mixture to come to a boil, turn down the heat, and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove it from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Once the mixture has cooled down completely, remove the cinnamon sticks from it and discard them. Store this mixture in the refrigerator till you are ready to use it. When you are ready to serve, take a glass and add ice cubes, followed by cold brew coffee concentrate. To this, add as much milk as you like along with the honey cinnamon syrup and mix well to combine. Top it off with a sprinkle of cinnamon to ace this cold brew coffee recipe.

3. Fresh Mint Cold Brew Coffee With Chocolate Swirls

Ingredients:

For the dark chocolate coconut ganache:

1/2 cup coconut milk (full fat is best)

150 grams dark chocolate, roughly chopped

For the fresh mint syrup:

1 cup water

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 bunch fresh mint

For the coffee:

Cold brew coffee concentrate

Milk or cream of your choice

Method:

The first thing you need to start with is the fresh mint syrup. For this, take a pan, place it over medium heat, and add the water, granulated sugar, and fresh mint. Keep stirring constantly, let the mixture simmer till all the sugar dissolves, and turn the heat off. Let the syrup sit and steep, absorbing the flavour as it cools down. Once cool, strain the syrup out into a jar or air-tight container and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Next, start working on the dark chocolate coconut ganache. Take a medium-sized, microwave-safe bowl and heat the coconut milk for 30 seconds. Place the chocolate into the warm coconut milk and stir the mixture together until the chocolate is melted and the ganache is smooth.

The last step to finish off this cold brew coffee recipe is to assemble everything. So, when you are ready to serve, drizzle some dark chocolate coconut ganache in a jar or glass. Then, fill the glass with ice cubes and pour the cold brew on top. Finally, stir in the fresh mint syrup and cream or milk of your choice and serve!

4. Salted Chocolate Iced Coffee

Ingredients:

1/2 cup milk

1 cup strong brewed coffee, chilled

2 tsp cocoa powder

8 drops vanilla essence

Sugar or sweetener according to taste

1 scoop chocolate protein powder (optional)

1/2 tsp sea salt

5-7 ice cubes

Method:

Take a blender and add all the ingredients into it, except ice, and blend till everything is completely mixed. Take a tall glass, add ice cubes, and pour in the drink. A simple and delicious, cold brew coffee recipe!

5. Iced Coconut Milk Mocha Macchiato

Ingredients:

1/4 cup chilled strong brewed coffee or 1 shot espresso

1/2 cup coconut milk (vanilla, if possible)

1 tbsp heavy cream

A few drops of vanilla extract

1 tbsp coconut sugar (or sugar of choice)

2 tbsp chocolate syrup

Ice cubes

Method:

Take a tall glass and add ice cubes to it. To this, add coconut milk, cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and mix well. You can also mix sugar and coconut milk separately and then pour it in the glass, so that the sugar dissolves properly. Lastly, pour chilled coffee concentrate and top it off with a dash of chocolate syrup and enjoy!

6. Skinny Almond Honey Coffee

1 tbsp honey

1 tbsp hot water

250 ml cold brew, or chilled brewed coffee

100 ml water

4 tbsp unsweetened almond milk

Few drops sweetener of choice, if desired

Ice cubes

Method:

Take a small bowl and combine the honey and hot water until smooth. Add this mixture to a glass filled with ice, followed by coffee, water, almond milk, and sweetener, and mix well. Serve this refreshing and delicious cold brew immediately!

7. Tiramisu Cold Brew Coffee

Ingredients:

1 cup cold brew coffee

1/4-1/2 cup milk

2 tbsp tiramisu syrup

1 scoop of ice

White chocolate sauce

Method:

Take a mason jar or tall glass and drizzle a little white chocolate sauce in it. Next, add ice, cold brew coffee, milk, and mix well. Top it off with some tiramisu syrup and you have yourself a midweek treat!

8. Sweetened Condensed Milk Cold Brew Iced Latte

Fresh and chilled cold brewed coffee

2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk

Sweetener of your choice (optional)

Ice cubes

Method:

Take a tall glass, add ice cubes to it, and drizzle in the sweetened condensed milk. Pour over the coffee and additional sweetener, if using, and stir well. Now, you are ready to sip away your work blues with this simple and delicious brew!

9. Nutella Iced Coffee
