Another way to travel is to take the bus but it can easily take 24-36 hours to reach and you will need to change the bus at Keylong. This will cost you about ₹1,500.

Where to stay: If you are looking for a budget-friendly stay, hostels are your best bet. You can get a decent room starting from ₹700 and it will go up as per your requirements. You can also look for home stays or guest houses that are affordable starting from ₹1,500.

3. Kashmir
