We are now witnessing a lot of intimate weddings due to the restrictions on the number of guests. While some couples are opting for a live broadcast of their ceremonies over video conferencing apps, others are tying the knot in traditional ceremonies in the presence of their loved ones. No matter what route you choose, if there’s one thing that remains common, it is the pressure of preparing for the big day. As a bride, you want your wedding to be memorable for the rest of your life. You want the pictures to represent some of the most special days of your life. Thus, it goes without saying that a bride dreams of putting her best look forward on the big day. With apprehensions surrounding visits to salons due to COVID-19, most brides are working on their bridal glow at home.

Here are some of the ways in which you too can work on your skincare routine to get the ultimate glow at home.

  2. Yoghurt, 2 tbsp
  3. Honey, 1 tbsp

Make a smooth paste of all three ingredients and apply it on your face and neck evenly. Massage your face in circular motions for about two minutes before you let it sit for the next 10-15 minutes. Rinse with fresh water and pat gently to dry.

2. Turmeric and milk mask

You will need:

  1. Turmeric (haldi) powder, 2 pinches
  2. Gram flour (besan), 2 tbsp
  3. Milk, enough to make a smooth paste

Make a smooth paste of all three ingredients and apply it on your face and neck evenly. Let it sit until it dries out on its own before rinsing with fresh water.

Note: If you have oily skin, you can substitute milk with water. Also, if you’re using fresh, raw turmeric instead of powder, use a lesser quantity at first since raw haldi can leave a strong yellow stain.

3. Baking soda and olive oil face pack
