1. Turmeric and besan
A turmeric and besan face pack is one of the most popular combinations to exfoliate and brighten the skin. It also removes fine facial hair and tanning. Turmeric, as we know, is an antiseptic and has anti-bacterial properties that fight off bacteria. Besan exfoliates the skin by removing dead cells and fine facial hair, and it also maintains the pH balance of the skin.
How to use it: Mix 1 tbsp each of besan and rosewater with 1/2 tbsp of turmeric powder and make a thick paste. Apply it on your face, leave it on for 15 minutes, and wash it off with cool water. Do this once a week for best results.
2. Aloe vera and turmeric
Turmeric and aloe vera make for an amazing remedy for acne. Aloe vera has cooling properties that calm irritated and inflamed skin. Along with turmeric, it fights the acne causing bacteria and controls excess oil on the skin.
How to use it: Mix 2 tbsp of aloe vera gel and 1 tbsp of turmeric powder, and make a paste. Apply it on your face for about 20 mins, and wash it off with cool water. Do this twice a week for best results.
