This Malayalam adventure comedy follows the life of Binto, a Gen Z content creator. His life takes a thrilling turn when he learns that his elder brother, Shinto, has gone missing. A hilarious quest follows as Binto teams up with his brother’s friends, Shabeer and Aishwarya, his hacker buddy, Hariharasudhan, and the goon, Courier Babu. This quirky gang is all set to find Shinto, but it isn’t as easy as various struggles await them. The drama comedy, directed by Arun D. Jose, features Arjun Ashokan and Mathew Thomas in lead roles, alongside Mahima Nambiar, Bharat Bopanna, Shyam Mohan, and Kalabhavan Shajohn.

2. The Four Seasons

Alan Alda’s movie, The Four Seasons (1981), has now been recreated into a series by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield. The romantic comedy series shares an interesting tale of three couples whose decades-old tradition of seasonal vacations is interrupted when one of them announces their divorce. The show is a heartwarming representation of friendship, long-term relationships and love. The Four Seasons boasts a star-studded cast including Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, Marco Calvani, Tina Fey, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver and Erika Henningsen in prominent roles.

3. Why I Dress Up For Love

This Japanese romcom is about Kurumi Mashiba, a publicist for a home décor firm who discovers her sense of self through fashion. Things change when she moves into a new apartment with three friends, including Shun Fujino, a free-spirited person. Observing her roommates’ different perspectives about life, Kurumi gets into a conflicted relationship with fashion. Does her fashion sense reflect her true self? Or is it an act she puts up? The movie casts Haruna Kawaguchi, Ryusei Yokohama, Ryuhei Maruyama, Anne Nakamura and Kazuki Iio among other actors.

1. Kull: The Legacy Of The Raisingghs

Set against the regal backdrop of Bikaner, this drama series is among the most thrilling OTT releases streaming from April 29-May 4, 2025. Kull: The Legacy Of The Raisingghs is about the royal Raisinggh family headed by Maharaja Chandrapratap Raisinggh. However, this picture-perfect family hides a deep-rooted hatred for each other. Starring Amol Parashar, Nimrat Kaur and Ridhi Dogra in the lead, the series offers a fresh take on royal drama.

2. Costao

Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead, Costao is a biographical drama based on the life of a customs officer, Costao Fernandes. Set in the 1990s in Goa, when corruption was rampant, the movie portrays Costao’s resilience in eradicating the smuggling of gold. The film depicts how he went on a solo mission to stop one of India’s largest gold smuggling operations. Directed by Sejal Shah, the movie Costao also features Priya Bapat, Kishor Kumar Huli, Gagan Dev Riar and Hussain Dalal among others.

3. Black White & Gray – Love Kills

The crime thriller series centres on Daniel Gary, a journalist investigating four murders linked to a young man from a disadvantaged background. It’s been two years and he still hasn’t been caught. However, the accused later records a statement revealing that one of the victims was his beloved. He also blames the media for sharing lies about him and goes on to tell his truth. Is he innocent? Is Daniel hiding something from the public? The thrilling drama features Mayur More, Palak Jaiswal, Deven Bhojani, and Tigmanshu Dhulia in the lead.

4. Exterritorial

In this Netflix drama thriller, former Special Forces soldier Sara is searching for her son, Joshua, who goes missing on their visit to a US consulate’s office in Frankfurt. When she inquires with the building authorities, everyone denies even seeing her son. The plot complicates as she can’t leave the consulate or they will ban her return. Is someone conspiring against her? Will she find her son? The movie casts Jeanne Goursaud in the lead alongside Dougray Scott, Nina Liu, Lera Abova, and Samuel Tehrani.

1. Bad Boy

The crime drama is an eight-episode series based on the real-life story of Israeli comedian Daniel Chen, who spent his teenage years in juvenile detention. In the series, Chen reminisces about those years and his prisoner friend, Zoro, serving time for murder. Years later, Daniel, now a successful comedian, struggles to forget his dark past. The series casts Daniel Chen, Guy Menaster, Havtamo Farda, Neta Plotnik and Ben Sultan among others.
