In her debut at the Cannes Film Festival this year, Janhvi Kapoor turned heads in a statement piece designed by Tarun Tahiliani. She wore a couture skirt and corset, exuding elegance and sophistication. In an Instagram post, Tahiliani mentioned that the handwoven tissue outfit was specially crafted in Varanasi. Janhvi’s soft blush pink dress features delicately created pleats from all sides. To enhance the look, Tahiliani added a classy hood using the same dress, which some people are misinterpreting as a ghunghat (veil). She complemented the look with bespoke, stacked pearl jewellery, adding a touch of royalty to her overall appearance. Janhvi opted for a neat hairstyle with soft makeup, touching the pastel hues of her outfit. Janhvi Kapoor’s Cannes 2025 look has even reminded her fans of her mother, iconic Bollywood actor, Sridevi.

Ishaan Khatter’s Cannes 2025 look

And to top this, Ishaan Khatter has made it to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2025 list as an influential young achiever. Ishaan Khatter brought Indian couture to the Cannes film festival, wearing a custom Deep Bordeaux Velvet Bandhgala designed by Gaurav Gupta. In his latest Instagram post, Gupta revealed how he reinterpreted the “classic high-collared jacket with Black Zardosi Celtic Knot Embroidery” to represent strength. Ishaan complemented the wine-coloured suit with a silver stud earring and black tinted sunglasses, giving a polished look.
