Last night was the first Monday of May and also the most fashionable one! Met Gala Monday is the biggest night of fashion globally, a fundraising event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This year’s theme is ‘Costume Art’. This theme depicts the dressed body by pairing garments with art objects, spanning over 5,000 years. The display pairs historical and modern garments from the Met’s curatorial departments and has inaugurated the Met’s nearly 12,000-square-foot Condé M. Nast Galleries. The dress code for the evening is ‘Fashion Is Art’, and these Indian celebrities ate and left no goddamn crumbs. Here are some of the best looks from the Met Gala 2026 that have left the internet in a frenzy.

Natasha Poonawalla is another A-lister who always makes a statement with her OTT looks at every red carpet event. Starting strong in a white couture gown by Dolce & Gabbana, Natasha wore an orchid pectoral sculpture by British visual artist Marc Quinn.
