Maheep Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh, Bhavana Panday, and Neelam Kothari Soni are back with a brand new season of their reality show. This season starts with the four Bollywood wives on a yacht heading back home after a wedding and dissing the bride’s look and the no-phone rule that seems to be the norm at Bollywood weddings now.
The second season of Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives features a number of celebrities including Ranveer Singh, Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and the most surprising of all, Sima Taparia! Now, this was a crossover the world really did not need.
“Love is evol”
Seema Sajdeh’s divorce is one of the major moments of the second season with frequent references to it. Maheep and Bhavana, on the other hand, are trying their best to revive their respective love lives. While Maheep is taking and giving a lot of sex advice, Bhavana is planning to renew her vows. This “regurgitation” is the source of a lot of laughter during the show. Maheep also throws a mini bombshell and talks about “an indiscretion” Sanjay Kapoor had early in their marriage which caused her to walk out with her daughter.
Neelam Soni is trying to learn how to kiss on screen and get her husband to train her. Understandably, she’s probably also struggling with her husband’s skewed definition of feminism.
More entertaining than recent Bollywood fare
The second season of Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives is far more entertaining than the first. Not only do we see verbal duels, we see a whole lot of gossiping and bitching about each other which is always entertaining to watch. Much more entertaining than most recent Bollywood films, we say!
And what a joy it is for 90s kids to see the OG Indian supermodel Mehr Jesia on the screen once again. Her no-nonsense demeanour is refreshing and a break from the over-the-top main characters of the show. Also, Karan Johar is way better in this Dharmatic Production than on his own talk show. Time for a rethink of the KWK format, perhaps?

Wine and the grapevine
There are a lot of insinuations and attempted matchmaking in this season. And of course, a whole lot of wine which they must’ve needed for this ostentatious outing! There’s a lot of marriage drama too in this season with the wives and husbands getting at each other. It’s bizarre, obviously made up, and super fun to watch.
If you’re into Bollywood gossip and reality shows about rich people with too much time on their hands, this is the show for you to binge this weekend.
Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives is streaming now on Netflix.
