For her debut appearance, Natasha went bold and brilliantly offbeat from the theme ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination’. While most attendees leaned into the ecclesiastical opulence of the theme, she opted for something a little more rebellious. Natasha wore a strapless white gown by Prabal Gurung, covered in graffiti-inspired artwork that fused high fashion with street art. With minimal accessories, she let the vibrant dress do all the heavy lifting, and it carried it all rather fabulously.

This was the year Natasha Poonawalla made headlines around the globe. The theme was ‘In America: An Anthology of Fashion’, but Natasha gave it a cross-cultural twist. She wore a stunning Sabyasachi gold saree layered over a custom Schiaparelli sculptural corset. The mix of a traditional Indian drape with high fashion’s sculptural edge was nothing short of genius.

A tribute to the legendary Chanel designer, 2023’s theme was ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’. To celebrate Lagerfeld’s signature monochrome world, Natasha wore a custom Maison Margiela Artisanal ensemble by John Galliano. Wearing a metallic silver number complete with robotic detailing, this look was a nod to Karl Lagerfeld’s love of innovation. With sleek hair, Natasha looked like she’d just time-travelled from the year 3023.

With ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion’ as the theme, Natasha Poonawalla reminded us why we adore her red carpet instincts. The look was inspired by rebirth and renewal, and it felt like a dark fairytale brought to life.

Natasha Poonawalla wowed at the 2025 Met Gala in a stunning Manish Malhotra look that blended heritage with high drama. Her fishtail skirt, crafted from two vintage Parsi Gara sarees, including a century-old heirloom, was a tribute to her Parsi roots. She paired it with a pearl-trimmed lace bralette, a corset-cummerbund, and a sharp black jacket lined in imperial purple. Topping it off with a sculptural lace cravat, Natasha served theatrical elegance with a cultural twist, owning the red carpet like only she can.
