The last couple of decades have been quite revolutionary when it comes to the acceptance and inclusivity of the queer community. Though we’ve still got a long way to go, the positive shift in mindsets cannot be denied. This transformation has led to the LGBTQIA+ community gradually occupying a more prominent place in the film and television space as well. And rightfully so. From the initial years of stereotypical and side-lined representation to the current day fleshed out plots and characters, we’ve taken a few steps forward. And in the process, the entertainment industry has produced some brilliant movies and shows.
