As we end the first quarter of the year (already?), entertainment is on a high. Reality shows, a blast to the past, some supernatural shenanigans, and more await on the list of April 2023 OTT releases.

1. IRL – In Real Love

What happens when technology collides with tradition? In Real Love is a social experiment where four singles come to find love. It could be through online dating or going out on dates in the real world. The concept of the show reflects the world we live in which is primarily technology driven. Hosted by Rannvijay Singha and Gauahar Khan, the show is all set to test people on their ability to find love.

2. Jubilee

Set in the 1940s and 1950s in Bombay, Jubilee chronicles the history of Bollywood post-Independence. The show follows an ensemble of characters who dream of making it big in Bollywood. The period drama brings forward the ambitions, dreams, passions, and even scandals that ruled Bollywood in the late 1940s. Prosenjit Chatterjee stars as the owner of Roy Talkies, Srikant Roy, while Aditi Rao Hydari is his wife Sumitra Kumari. Created by Vikramaditya Motwane, the series also stars Aparshakti Khurana, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sidhant Gupta, Nandish Singh, and Ram Kapoor.

3. Rennervations

A reality docuseries starring Jeremy Renner, the show will take the actor across the globe to reimagine purpose-built vehicles. Renner will go to Reno, Chicago, Cabo, Mexico, and Rajasthan, where his team of expert builders as well as a group of construction workers will identify decommissioned vehicles that can be rebuilt to serve a new purpose. The show will also see Anthony Mackie, Vanessa Hudgens, Sebastian Yatra, and Anil Kapoor.

4. The Marvelous Mrs Maisel S5

Comedy genius Midge is coming back for the fifth and final season.  After the end of Season 4, fans are waiting for answers. Will Midge finally get together with Lenny Bruce? Joel’s mother had a heart attack post the news of Mei’s pregnancy. How will the family continue to react to this news? Will Susie Myerson’s antics continue to dazzle us and is Rose going to continue her matchmaking business despite the threats from some old-timers? There were so many questions left unanswered at the end of Season 4 and the latest season of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel will be the answer to them all.

5. Tooth Pari: When Love Bites

What happens when a vampire falls in love with a shy dentist? Find out in Tooth Pari: When Love Bites. When Rumi visits the dentist’s office to fix her broken fang, Roy is determined to fix it for her. But can the faint-hearted boy deal with the mysticism of Rumi’s world? While sparks fly between the two, the love story may not be one that can be easily fulfilled. This supernatural romance stars Shantanu Maheshwari and Tanya Maniktala in the lead roles.

6. Indian Matchmaking S3

Everybody’s favourite matchmaker Sima Taparia is back to make the stars align. She will be taking her matchmaking skills to London this time to help millennials find love. From London to New Delhi, Miami to New York, Sima will manage more expectations than before from her clients, some old, others new. Which lucky single will find their match? Wait and watch.

7. Citadel

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is back in action in a sci-fi espionage thriller. Starring alongside Richard Madden, PC plays a Citadel operative Nadia Sinh who must stop a crime syndicate and save the world. The series promises to be an action-packed thriller. Citadel is also set to have spin-offs set in various local languages and locales like India, Spain, Mexico, and the Italian Alps. This is one of the most anticipated April 2023 OTT releases.

8. Mrs Undercover

Radhika Apte is back on your screens, this time as a kickass special agent. Apte stars as a simple housewife who has been undercover for the past 10 years. She is called back to the job to nab a psycho killer while maintaining her cover of a housewife.
