You’ve probably heard it a thousand times: “Drink fennel or cumin water in the morning because it’s good for digestion!” Yes, morning drinks are great, but they don’t stand a chance compared to this night-time magic. Because the real havoc happens after dinner. That heavy, bloated feeling that lingers as you head to bed? Morning drinks can’t fix that. But a warm glass of saunf (fennel), zeera (cumin), and ajwain (carom seeds) water right before you sleep is the best drink for bloating. It changes how your body feels, at least it did for me.

I know this feeling because I have been there, but I finally found something that works.

Saunf, zeera, and ajwain actively support your digestion while you snooze. Saunf calms the gut and reduces gas, zeera encourages digestive enzymes, and ajwain eases any lingering indigestion. Together, they help your body process food efficiently overnight. You won’t feel it happening, but you’ll definitely notice the results in the morning.

What makes this drink an absolute 10/10 is its simplicity. There’s no complicated routine, no expensive powders, no gimmicks. All you have to do is take 50 grams of zeera, saunf, and ajwain each. Roast them together for about five minutes and let the mixture cool. Once it has cooled down, grind the mixture into a fine powder and store it in an air-tight container. Then, when you have to drink it, add one tablespoon of this powder to a glass of lukewarm water and enjoy. You can also add a bit of rock salt to it for taste.

However, do not drink it immediately after dinner. Wait 20-30 minutes after your meal before you drink zeera, ajwain, saunf water.

I am a victim of chronic bloating, and I have been drinking this water for more than a month now. And the results have been great so far. So, if you also struggle with bloating, trust me, saunf, zeera, and ajwain water will benefit you immensely.
