Two Much show review: Do Salman and Aamir spill the tea?

The first episode sees Aamir Khan and Salman Khan sharing a couch, which is a rare sight. And this is single-handedly a reason you’d want to tune in and see what the two OGs have got to spill.
“Male hosts don’t ask questions women really want to ask,” Twinkle Khanna boldly states as the reason behind creating Two Much with Kajol. And honestly, she’s not wrong. While the format, with celebrities on a couch and light-hearted games in between, might feel familiar, the conversation is refreshingly different. It goes beyond the usual gossip and ‘who’s hotter than whom’. The range of questions Twinkle and Kajol pose expands from “Why are you the eternal virgin?” to “When did you first start therapy?” But, and here’s the catch, do Salman and Aamir drop their guards and answer those questions honestly? Aamir opens up about feeling absent from his children’s lives, while Salman reveals the years of pain he endured from trigeminal neuralgia.
The kind of energy that Twinkle and Kajol bring to conversations makes them the perfect hosts to ask men in the industry important questions. Case in point: Twinkle bluntly asks the two about the older men constantly romancing younger women in Bollywood. And both Salman and Aamir stumble through their responses is both hilarious and telling. And honestly, it’s a joy to watch two women grill the industry’s most powerful men while all they can do is laugh nervously.
Verdict: Bold, badass and worth a watch

Sure, Two Much doesn’t reinvent the talk show wheel. But what it does do is turn it into a long-overdue direction. With Kajol and Twinkle at the helm, the show feels bold, cheeky, and far more willing to poke the bear than its predecessors. It’s not the freshest format on screen, but it might just be the bravest.
Can you watch Two Much with your family? Yes. The first episode of the show doesn’t contain any abusive language or explicit content.
