We all have read about the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in history books, but many stories never make it to these books. Kesari Chapter 2 is here to tell these stories the way they should be told. The official teaser for Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh has dropped today. The movie is a sequel to Akshay Kumar’s Kesari. But this time, R Madhavan and Ananya Pandey join him in pivotal roles.
The teaser opens with a trigger warning and 30 seconds of black screen, relying on the audio to immerse the audience with constant screams and sounds of guns firing. The teaser then goes on to reveal the lives lost in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and the brutality of the incident. That’s when the fearless lawyer Sir C. Sankaran Nair, who took on the British Empire in the wake of a national tragedy, is introduced.
The teaser of Kesari Chapter 2 highlights a dark and gruesome time for India. The background score and storytelling seem quite powerful, promising a gripping watch. Kesari Chapter 2 movie is set to release on April 18, 2025 in theatres.
