The ‘Next on Netflix’ event has built an entertaining lineup of crime thrillers, romcoms, and dramatic movies & shows. Additionally, Netflix surprised the audience by announcing new seasons of their most loved series. Here are some of the new shows and seasons of web series to be released on Netflix in 2025.

1. Delhi Crime S3

What’s DCP Vartika Chaturvedi aka Madam Sir (Shefali Shah) up to in the third season of the International Emmy award-winning series Delhi Crime? Its last season ended with DCP Vartika catching the true culprits behind the murders of senior citizens. This time, her moral dilemma and pursuit of justice are bigger than before as her team fights the toughest case. A woman is running a heinous business of sex trafficking of young girls. Will DCP Vartika free these innocents? Huma Qureshi has joined the OG cast members of Delhi Crime including Shefali Shah, Rajesh Tailang, and Rasika Dugal. She is set to play the antagonist in the new season.

2. Kohrra S2

The fog is about to get dense as Kohrra returns with another season in 2025. It’s even more gripping because Mona Singh has joined forces with Garundi. The show will delve into the dark history of Punjab, the family dynamics of the characters, and the extent of crime in the state. Barun Sobti is returning this season as Garundi. 

3. Rana Naidu S2

Netflix has recently announced a brand-new season of the web series Rana Naidu, to be aired in 2025. The first season portrayed Rana Naidu as the problem solver for the rich as he covered up the infamous scandals of the celebrities. Following the same trail, he also plans the release of his father from prison. The second season marks Arjun Rampal’s entry to add to the simmering tension. Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati are back with their powerhouse performance. Rana Naidu S2 is set to raise the stakes of drama, family conflicts, and action for the audience.

4. The Great Indian Kapil Show S3

The laughter fest returns with the announcement of The Great Indian Kapil Show‘s third season. After two successful seasons, Kapil Sharma and his team promise the best brand of humour. Get ready for nonstop entertainment with the superstars Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Vidya Balan, Rajpal Yadav, Kajol, Badshah, Alia Bhatt, and others.

5. Mandala Murders

The mandala is the symbol that represents the universe within itself. While everything in the cosmos is interconnected, people in this mandala bring both peace and chaos. Mandala Murders brings one such entangled story to life. The series shows a unique plot with lesser-known actors in strong roles. Vaani Kapoor, Surveen Chawla, and Vaibhav Raj Gupta are the lead performers of this crime thriller series.

6. Khakee: The Bengal Chapter

The makers of Khakee: The Bihar Chapter are going to venture into another state through the release of Khakee: The Bengal Chapter. The previous series revealed the crime industry of Bihar, starring Avinash Tiwary, Karan Tacker, and Abhimanyu Singh in leading roles. The new chapter will show Bengal’s dark side underlying various crimes. Khakee: The Bengal Chapter will cast Rithwik Bhowmik, Chitrangada Singh, Aakanksha Singh, Saswata Chatterjee, Aadil Khan, Pooja Chopra, Mimoh Chakraborty, and Shraddha Das in key roles.
