With the weekend just around the corner, it’s time to mix it up with this very handy selection of our favourite summer cocktails.
1. Island Breeze
A vodka cocktail mixed with pineapple and cranberry, this drink is the perfect combination of flavours. Garnish it with a cherry and pineapple slice to make it ready for a party.
Ingredients: 1-2 ounces of vodka, 6 ounces of pineapple juice, pineapple and maraschino cherry for garnish.
Pour all ingredients over ice and enjoy.

2. Negroni
For the uninitiated, this might be slightly bitter. But for those who have ridden the wave, this drink is a star since it is one of the tastiest cocktails around.
Ingredients: 25 ml gin, 25 ml sweet red vermouth, 25 ml Campari, orange peel
Take a rock glass and put in as many ice cubes as you’d like. Add a measure each of gin, sweet vermouth and Campari. Stir lightly. Add a big wedge of orange as a garnish. The lingering flavour makes this cocktail taste divine.
3. Strawberry Daiquiri
Sweet and easy to drink, this drink is a great way to introduce yourself to the world of cocktails.
Ingredients: 37.5 ml Bacardi rum, 12.5 ml strawberry liqueur, 25 ml lime juice, 12.5 ml sugar syrup, 1 strawberry
Add all ingredients into a Boston Shaker and fill it with ice. Shake for about 15 seconds and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a strawberry.

4. Baja Gold
Beat the heat this summer with a refreshing, tall glass of Baja Gold.
Ingredients: 50 ml tequila, 12.5 ml triple sec, 50 ml pineapple juice, 12.5 ml lime juice, 12.5 ml simple syrup, 1 lime wedge
Chill a martini glass with ice and add soda water. Add all ingredients into a mixing glass. Fill up the mixing glass with cubed ice. Shake hard for 10 seconds. Double strain the mixture into the chilled martini glass. Garnish with lime wedge.

5. Seasonal Breeze
Simple and super easy, this is one of the most popular cocktails for a lazy summer day.
Ingredients: 2 shots of vodka, 3 shots of cranberry juice, 2 shots of apple juice
Add all the ingredients over lots of ice in a Collins glass, stir with a bar spoon, and garnish with a freshly cut apple slice.
