With the weekend just around the corner, it’s time to mix it up with this very handy selection of our favourite summer cocktails.
1. Island Breeze
A Vodka cocktail mixed with pineapple and cranberry it has the perfect amount of sweet and tart flavour. Garnish it with a cherry and pineapple to get a gorgeous cocktail ready for a party.
Ingredients: 1-2 ounces of Vodka, 6 ounces of pineapple juice, pineapple and maraschino cherry for garnish.
Pour all ingredients over ice and enjoy

For the uninitiated this would be a bitter cocktail. But for those who have ridden the wave this is the drink to have; for it is one of the tastiest cocktail around.
Ingredients: 25 ml Gin, 25 ml Sweet Red Vermouth, 25 ml Campari, Orange Peel
Take a rock glass and pop as many ice cubes you’d like to add. Add a measure each of Gin, Sweet Vermouth and Campari. Stir lightly. Add a big wedge of orange for garnish. The lingering flavour makes the mix taste divine.
3. Strawberry Daiquiri
A perfect drink for the ones on the try. Sweet and easy to drink it’s a great way to introduce yourself to the cocktail world.
Ingredients: 37 `1/2 ml Bacardi Rum, 12 1/2 ml Strawberry Liqueur, 25 ml Lime Juice, 12 1/2 ml Sugar Syrup, 1 Strawberry
Add all ingredients into a Boston Shaker and fill with ice. Shake for about 15 seconds and then strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a strawberry.

4. Baja Gold
Beat the heat this summer with a refreshing chill of a tall glass of Baja Gold.
Ingredients: 50 ml Tequila, 12 1/2 ml Triple Sec, 50 ml Pineapple Juice, 12 1/2 ml Lime Juice, 12 1/2 ml Simple Syrup, Lime Wedge
Chill a martini glass with ice and soda water. Add all ingredients into a mixing glass. Fill up the mixing glass with cubed ice. Shake hard for 10 seconds. Double strain mixture into chilled martini glass. Garnish with lime wedge.

5. Seasonal Breeze
Simple and super easy, one of the most popular cocktails for a lazy summer day.
Ingredients: 2 shots Vodka, 3 shots Cranberry Juice, 2 shots Apple Juice
Add all the ingredients over lots of ice in a Collins glass, stir with bar spoon and garnish with a freshly cut apple slice.
