Ever since the first volume of Stranger Things season 4 aired, everyone has been eagerly waiting for the next part. As of today, Volume 2 is out on Netflix with two extremely long but satisfying episodes as the season finale. But we bet you aren’t ready for this one! It is a roller coaster and the Duffer Brothers have done justice to the series by going bigger, bolder, and scarier. So, here’s our review of Stranger Things 4 Volume 2.

Four hours of absolute madness

The fans have been a little confused since Volume 2 only consists of two episodes. But without giving any spoilers, the two episodes are 1.5 hours and 2.5 hours long and worth sticking to your seat. There are so many dots that will connect in the two episodes and the creators have done a fabulous job of making it a roller coaster that you won’t regret riding. It is scary, it is emotional, and it is moving, but it is unlike anything that you’ve seen before. The two groups that have been separated for so long finally make it back together to fight Vecna, the latest demon that has taken Hawkins by storm. And this is finally the moment that we’ve been waiting for since the first part of the series.

The Duffer Brothers have managed to spin a tale so engrossing and thrilling that you won’t feel that the last two episodes are running to finish the season. There are so many moments that will make you jump in your seat and bite your nails. And as the parallel storylines finally start becoming one, the series becomes more unanimous and everyone finally finds their footing in the storyline.

As seen in the first part of this season, there is a lot of screen time given to every group and not so much to Will, Mike, Jonathan, and Argyle. But we’ll get to see plenty of moments of this group as they are thrown back into the scene with a lot more screen time. From solving codes to rescuing Eleven, there are many moments between the gang that will tug at the strings of your heart.

The character development is amazing

This season has the best character development in the series as you can see every single person putting their best foot forward. And while we still have our favourites from the series, season 4 gives us some precious gems that make a great addition. But I must warn you that this season is also a tear-jerker as you’ll see some unfortunate endings like the previous season. Keep a tissue box handy.

Every character, big or small, puts their heart and soul into performing this season and you can clearly see it as the story moves forward. The new additions, like Argyle and Eddie Munson, add a refreshing and hilarious spin to the bleak and nail-biting moments.

An almost perfect ending to the season

It’s hard to not give any spoilers here, but Volume 2 is quite a banger. The Duffer Brothers do a great job of bringing the season to a climax without losing its originality. There are plenty of instances that bring back connections from the first season that blow your mind. All in all, they’ve weaved a tale almost perfectly and we can’t wait for the final season of the series!

Catch Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 on Netflix.
