1. Kaun Banegi Shikharwati

A former king, who has a dysfunctional family, devises an outlandish plan to unite his estranged daughters. Meanwhile, an income tax investigation looms over the palace’s hidden treasure.

This anticipated series stars the powerhouse Naseeruddin Shah along with talented stars like Cyrus Sahukar, Soha Ali Khan, Shikhar Srivastava, Lara Dutta, Kritika Kamra, and Anya Singh.

2. Mother/Android

4. Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein

5. Human

In the murky world of human drug trials, morality falls by the wayside and greed takes over. The show centres around the human trial of a banned drug that costs a lot of lives.

Human sees Shefali Shah and Kriti Kulhari as Dr Gauri Nath and Dr Saira Sabarwal respectively. Directed and created by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Mozez Singh, this is expected to be one of the best releases of 2022.

6. Ozark

Ozark is coming back with its fourth and final season this month. A financial adviser drags his family from Chicago to the Missouri Ozarks, where he must launder $500 million in five years to appease a drug boss. After almost two years since the release of the third season, we’ll finally see how Byrde’s story ends. The last season will be released in two parts, with Part 1 being released in January.

7. As We See It

Finding love, making friends, getting a friend, adulting. Three roommates on the autism spectrum navigate their early 20s with all its joy, tears, and laughter.

This coming-of-age series is helmed by the Emmy award-winning Jason Katims and stars Rick Glassman, Sue Ann Pien, and Albert Rutecki in lead roles. As We See It is a step in the right direction in terms of representation. Not just in terms of giving a voice to people on the spectrum, but also because all three actors identify as being on the autism spectrum

8. The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window

Mixing wine, pills, casseroles and an overactive imagination, Anna obsesses over a hunky neighbour across the street and witnesses a murder. Or did she?

Those who enjoyed Amy Adams’ The Woman in the Window and the Emily Blunt movie, The Girl on the Train will love this satire. Kristen Bell stars as Anna, a woman who tries to overcome her psychological trauma with unending wine and pills.
