If you’re looking for a fun and light Disney watch for your family, this adorable adventure flick is perfect for you. Raya, a lone warrior, sets out to save the last dragon from evil forces who threaten to destroy them forever.
3. Loki

Where: Disney+ Hotstar
We’ve got some amazing news for all you Marvel fans out there. Our favourite God of Mischief Loki shall be starring in an exclusive web series that follows his antics in a parallel universe. Though the premiere is slated for 9 June 2021, new episodes will be available on a weekly basis.
4. Sweet Tooth

Where: Netflix
Sweet Tooth is a fantasy drama series set in a post-apocalyptic world. Produced by Robert Downey Jr., the series is based on a DC comic book series by the same name. It follows Gus, a young human and animal hybrid boy, as he navigates the world outside his secluded forest home. Soon, he realises that humans fear and hunt hybrids like him as they believe them to be the cause for their destruction in the past.
5. Ray
When: 25 June 2021
Where: Netflix
Boasting of a stellar cast, this Netflix anthology is a tribute to the revered auteur, writer and filmmaker Satyajit Ray. Based on four short stories by Ray himself, the series shall explore the themes of love, lust, betrayal, and truth. This release has got to be one of the highlights of our June 2021 watchlist.
6. Skater Girl

Skater Girl follows the journey of a young girl in a remote Indian village who discovers her love for skateboarding by accident. After being introduced to the sport formally by a visiting British-Indian lady, she is faced with a series of challenges to accomplish her dreams of competing.
7. Sunflower

Looking for a gripping crime thriller to watch this summer? Sunflower seems to be a promising fit. Comedian Sunil Grover has stepped out of his comfort zone to take on a new avatar in this murder mystery set in a middle-class housing society in Mumbai. The series also stars Ranvir Shorey and Girish Kulkarni in leading roles.
8. Sherni

Where: Amazon Prime Video
The versatile Vidya Balan takes on the role of an Indian Forest Service official in this upcoming Bollywood drama.
9. Fatherhood
When: 18 June 2021
Where: Netflix
Fatherhood is the story of a recently widowed father, played by Kevin Hart, who struggles to bring up his daughter after the unexpected death of his wife. This comedy-drama film seems to be the perfect blend of funny and adorable and promises to be a great Father’s Day watch.

The much-awaited Kapil Dev biopic, starring Ranveer Singh, finally has a release date for this month. Though originally slated for a theatrical release, considering the onset of the second wave, we’re sure it’ll soon be available to stream online as well.
