1. Abeer Bajpayee

Abeer Bajpayee was one of the popular roles portrayed by Gaurav Khanna. Starring opposite Yami Gautam in the show Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam, Abeer was the son of a Brahmin family. The show followed Abeer and Leher’s love story against the backdrop of caste politics and class differences. The show portrayed the struggles a young couple had to face from society as well as their families in order to be together.

2. Bhuvan Sareen

Before Gaurav Khanna romanced Rupali Ganguly in Anupamaa, the duo shared screen space in the 2002 hit show Bhabhi. While Khanna just had a guest appearance for a few episodes as the youthful Bhuvan Sareen, Rupali was a part of the supporting cast.

3. Prince Virendra Singh

Khanna was also part of the fantasy show Prem Ya Paheli – Chandrakanta where he portrayed the roles of Prince Virendra Singh and Maharaj Harshvardhan. Based on the Hindi novel Chandrakanta by Devaki Nandan Khatri, the show follows a king and a queen of two rival kingdoms who fall in love and join hands to find the tilism to protect the world.

4. Prithvi Saxena

The 2009 STAR One show Love Ne Mila Di Jodi is one that let Gaurav Khanna portray a few different shades, from a heartbroken son hell-bent on revenge to a man who is completely in love with a woman he thinks is the enemy. Gaurav Khanna takes on the role of Prithvi Saxena, the eldest son of Balraj Saxena who has been wrongly imprisoned. When his father passes away in prison, Prithvi and his brothers swear revenge on the woman Balraj was working for.

5. Prem Rajadhyaksha

Dil Se Diya Vachan was a show starring Neena Gupta and Vandana Joshi in the leads with Gaurav Khanna playing a prominent character. Khanna’s Prem is the youngest son of Dr Kalyani Gautam Rajadhyaksha (Neena Gupta) and the husband of Nandini (Vandana Joshi). Unbeknownst to him, as well as Nandini, Nandini was raped at a family function. But she lost all memory of the incident due to a trauma-induced coma. Prem is a progressive and supportive husband throughout the show. He has his flaws, but he learns from his errors and helps his wife through her trauma.
