We’ve all been personally victimised by a “great” show that forgot how to be great halfway through. Such shows start with a kickass pilot episode, or a fantastic first season, and then slowly, they lose the plot. But there are some series that never lost their charm, never dragged, and most importantly, never wasted our time. Haven’t found such shows yet? Take this as your cue to watch these web series that are perfect from start to finish.

1. Sarabhai vs Sarabhai

A peek into the chaotic yet hilarious lives of a rich family, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai thrives on the iconic clash between Maya’s high-society snobbery and her bahu Monisha’s unapologetic middle-class charm. But beyond the laughs, the show quietly slips in some sharp, feminist humour. Case in point is when Indravadan refuses to do household work, saying, “Main mard hoon.” His wife instantly shuts it down, telling him to complain to his parents about it because she’s clearly not entertaining that nonsense. The writing is razor-sharp, the humour is timeless, and every character brings their own brand of madness. It’s the kind of show you can rewatch endlessly and still laugh like it’s your first time.

2. Modern Family

Shot in a mockumentary style, Modern Family takes the everyday chaos of a big family and turns it into comedy that feels both real and ridiculously entertaining. From Phil’s cluelessness to Cameron’s sassy attitude, every character is distinctive and relatable in their own way. With an amazing script and sharp direction, there is not a single episode in Modern Family that will bore you.

3. TVF Pitchers

What happens when you quit your job to follow a dream with no backup plans? TVF Pitchers answers this question with humour, anxiety, and brutal honesty. The series follows four friends who ditch their stable jobs to chase the risky, chaotic world of startups. You become a part of the characters’ hustle and become so invested in their lives. TVF Pitchers is one of the best web series from The Viral Fever Productions that’s perfect from start to finish.

4. Very Parivarik

Very Parivarik takes a hyper-relatable setup to create a fun series. It follows Anish and Shelly, a young married couple whose urban lives get hilariously complicated when the husband’s small-town parents move in. Suddenly, privacy becomes a luxury for the couple. There’s no overacting, no dramatic background score telling you when to laugh, just clean writing and situations that unfold like real life. The comedy comes from generational habits clashing with modern routines, and it’s so subtle that you sometimes catch the joke a second late, making it even funnier.

5. The Good Place

The Good Place kicks off with a deliciously chaotic premise. A morally average woman accidentally lands in heaven and has to fake being a good person to avoid getting exposed. Widely praised for its witty writing and constant reinvention, the show blends philosophy with comedy to keep the entertainment going. The web series is perfect from start to finish because every episode leaves you curious, surprised, and oddly introspective about what it actually means to be good.

Where to watch: Netflix

6. Derry Girls

Derry Girls follows a tight-knit group of teenagers navigating school, family, and friendships in 1990s Northern Ireland, amid the era’s political tension. Catholic school routines, family hierarchies, and teenage anxieties create a world that’s distinctly recognisable for many. Every joke is a banger, and from start to finish, the web series keeps the plot interesting and engaging.

Where to watch: Netflix

7. Fleabag

The series is about a young woman in London trying to navigate grief, relationships, and her own self-destructive tendencies, all while speaking directly to the audience like you’re in on the joke. What makes Fleabag stand out is how sharply it observes modern loneliness and emotional messiness without ever feeling heavy. The humour is intimate and often uncomfortable as it’s built on honesty. Both seasons of Fleabag are deeply personal and widely relatable, making it easier to stay invested in the story till the end.
