A new wave of founders, a lot of them women and queer, have decided that Indian women deserve better. Better reproductive health products, better intimate wellness products, and of course, better orgasms. The result is a homegrown sexual wellness industry that is growing faster than most people realise. So, here are a few women’s sexual wellness brands in India you must check out.

1. Leezu’s

Founded in 2023 by sexuality educator Leeza Mangaldas and Hanna Stromgren Khan, Leezu’s is the brand that arrived with built-in credibility. Mangaldas has spent years as one of India’s most trusted voices on sexual health education. Her content has educated millions of young Indians who never had a proper sex-ed class. 2. That Sassy Thing

Founded by Sachee Malhotra, That Sassy Thing is unapologetically women-first. Their personal massagers are made from 100 per cent medical-grade silicone, their lubes are pH-balanced, parabens-free, and loaded with plant-based ingredients like aloe vera and flaxseed. They became India’s first sexual wellness brand to offer comprehensive sex-ed masterclasses, one of which won a UN Laadli Media Award for Gender Sensitivity.

3. Bleü

Founder Komal Baldwa started Bleü after noticing something the industry had ignored for decades: standard condoms are designed around men, and women’s bodies often pay the price through irritation, dryness, and infections caused by chemical residues. Bleü’s answer was India’s first non-toxic, vegan condom, made with ethically sourced latex from pesticide-free forests. Their products are ergonomically designed to enhance female pleasure actively. The brand also partners with HIV/AIDS prevention NGOs.

4. Pee Safe Domina

Pee Safe is well known for its female hygiene products, such as toilet seat sanitisers. But in 2021, they launched Pee Safe Domina, which is their female condom brand. Their natural latex internal condom can be worn for up to eight hours, needs no arousal to insert, and puts contraceptive control squarely in women’s hands. The launch campaign was bold enough to publicly spar with Durex on social media. In a market where safe sex for women has been an afterthought for decades, Domina’s arrival was a statement.

5. MyMuse

Husband-and-wife duo Anushka and Sahil Gupta built MyMuse around one simple idea: intimacy products in India should be beautiful, discreet, and actually designed with women in mind. 6. The Sangya Project

Founded by a queer and poly family, Sangya Project set out to build a space for destigmatised, kink-affirmative, and trauma-informed sexual education. They started with an Instagram page, built a community, and then manufactured intimate massagers right here in India. Their catalogue spans vibrators, strap-ons, butt plugs, kink wear, and supplements, all made in India. They even run a Repleasure Project, collecting used electronic adult toys in exchange for vouchers.

They pitched on Shark Tank India but walked away without a deal. Peppy was founded in 2023 by Devansh Agarwal and Shyamal Gupta, with content creator Bhuvan Bam joining as co-founder and investor in 2024. The brand’s pitch is straightforward: sexual wellness products should be as guilt-free and accessible as buying skincare. Their range covers personal massagers, lubricants, and candles for all genders and budgets. What makes Peppy stand out socially is the Awaaz initiative, which means that for every purchase made, free sanitary pads are donated to four rural women. Pleasure and social impact, hand in hand.
