The idea of Vastu helping you attract love doesn’t sound practical, right? Dr Neha explains the logic behind it. “Vastu might not ‘magically’ get you a partner, but it can help create an environment that encourages emotional openness, self-care, and a positive mindset — all of which are helpful when it comes to attracting love.” There’s no scientific evidence of Vastu helping you find a potential partner. But Dr Neha says, “Some people do report feeling more positive, open, or confident after making certain Vastu adjustments.” She shared how sleeping directions and décor elements in our home play a role in receiving love.

Vastu tips to attract love

The easiest way to start your romantic journey is by changing your sleeping direction. “Sleeping in the Southwest and Northwest bedrooms is considered auspicious for attracting partners. Also, make sure your head is in the South while sleeping,” said Dr Neha. The Vastu expert further shared some interior-related changes to enhance romantic energy in the bedroom to manifest a soulmate. She emphasised using soft colours or warm lights to balance your aura. “Pleasant scents like rose and jasmine can create a more inviting atmosphere for you to attract love,” said the Vastu expert.

According to Vastu, soothing colours like pink, peach, and light red in the bedroom can evoke romance. “You must check your room’s Vastu direction before applying these colours,” suggested Dr Neha. “Keeping every display item in pairs, including candles, swans, a couple of figurines, pillows, coffee mugs, and so on, symbolises partnership, which attracts love. But avoid placing these showpieces in the Northeast of your bedroom, as it’s associated more with spirituality, hindering romantic energy. Also, avoid solitary or sad artwork as it might subconsciously reinforce loneliness.”

How past relationships affect your current love life

Let’s be honest – it’s difficult to erase the memories of our old relationships. Even when the person leaves, their gifts or shared things stay with us as an evident reminder of them. How can you then move on and connect with other people? According to Dr Neha, “A tidy, uncluttered bedroom, especially under the bed, encourages emotional clarity and openness. Clear out items from past relationships to make space for someone new.”

Some people also feel guilty following such practices, especially if they ended their previous relationship on good terms. This is completely understandable, but you must make space for the love and happiness you deserve in life.
