Have you ever seen a religious divide through a child’s eyes? A child who knows nothing of politics, our violent history, and sees everyone around them merely as humans. Children are often told that they ask too many questions, but these questions often make us stop and think. Children can make us realise that there is no logic behind some of the grudges or beliefs we hold. Laddoo, a short film directed by Sameer Sadhwani and Kishor Sadhwani, tells the story of one such child. A young boy, Rahul, is given a small task by his mother. All he has to do is go to the temple and offer food to the pandit, but fate has other plans.
