The Housefull 5 trailer has just dropped, and it promises a wild ride of humour, chaos and glamour. With a star-studded cast on a cruise ship and a killer among them, it’s going to be a rollercoaster of emotions. Filled with not only laughter but also a bit of mystery and thriller, Housefull 5 promises to be big on entertainment.

A “killer” comedy

In Housefull 5, the madness takes place on a luxury cruise ship where Ranjit’s son Jolly is going to inherit his million dollar empire. But who is the real Jolly? We see a group of characters, played by Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Panday, Johnny Lever, and Shreyas Talpade, coming together for what looks like a fun getaway. But of course, with Housefull, nothing is ever that simple. Just when you think it’s all about holiday vibes and silly jokes, the Housefull 5 trailer takes a dramatic turn. There’s a masked killer on board! Yes, you read that right — a proper murder mystery twist in the middle of all the chaos. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect, and no one can be trusted.

We get quick glimpses of hilarious misunderstandings, loud arguments, over-the-top action, and, of course, classic Housefull-style confusion, with characters hiding, running, fainting, and accusing each other at every turn.

The comedy is as loud and colourful as ever, but the surprise murder plot adds a fresh spin. From what we see, Housefull 5 sticks to its roots of goofy entertainment but also dares to do something a little different. Whether it works or not, we’ll find out when the film hits cinemas. Housefull 5 is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on June 6, 2025.

One thing’s for sure — the Housefull 5 trailer makes you curious, and more importantly, it makes you laugh.
