February might be the month of love, but this month’s OTT releases are far from your usual rom-coms synonymous with the season of love. From spies to superheroes, here are all the February 2024 OTT releases to add to your watchlist.

1. Mr & Mrs Smith

If you have seen the 2005 film starring Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, you already know what to expect from Mr & Mrs Smith plot-wise. Starring Donald Glover and Maya Erskine as John and Jane Smith, respectively, the spy comedy follows two spies who pose as a married couple to carry out their missions.

2. Aarya – Antim Vaar

The Sushmita Sen starrer series is back for its final leg in Aarya Antim Vaar. Caught between her arms supply business and three kids, will Aarya sacrifice her life to save her kids? If you have followed the series, Aarya Antim Vaar concludes Aarya’s thrilling story.

3. Bhakshak

Inspired by true events, Bhakshak follows a local journalist essayed by Bhumi Pednekar. She follows a harrowing case where young girls who stay in a shelter are abused. Despite resistance from all sides, she tries to reveal the atrocities committed by the people in power. Directed by Pulkit, Bhakshak is a February 2024 OTT release to watch out for.

4. The Marvels

The 2023 superhero film is finally making its OTT debut in February. When Carol Danvers’ powers get entangled with those of Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau, the three women are forced to work together to save the universe. Brie Larson reprises her role as Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, while Iman Vellani and Teyonah Parris join her as Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau, respectively.

5. A Killer Paradox

When an ordinary college student accidentally kills a serial killer, he realises he has the ability to identify evil people. When one accidental killing leads to another, he gets caught in a cat-and-mouse chase with a relentless detective. The series is adapted from a webtoon of the same name and stars Choi WooShik and Son Suk Ku in the lead roles. For all K-drama fans, A Killer Paradox will be a worthwhile OTT release in February 2024 to watch out for.

6. The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth

Netflix’s latest documentary, The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth, follows the 2015 sensational case that rocked the nation – the Sheena Bora murder case. In this documentary, the prime accused, Indrani Mukerjea, opens up about the case. The documentary features Indrani, her children, veteran journalists, and lawyers who throw light on the dysfunctional family dynamics and the complex motivations of the case.

7. Poacher

A crime drama miniseries created by Richie Mehta, Poacher deals with an undercover ivory poaching ring. Poacher follows a group of Indian Forest Service officers, NGO workers and police constables as they try to track down a group of elephant ivory poachers and bring them to justice. The series stars Nimisha Sajayan, Roshan Mathew, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Kani Kusruti, Ranjitha Menon, and Maala Parvathi.
