Summer is all about staying cool and hydrated with refreshing fruity drinks. But at the same time, your drinks must be nutritious enough to keep your health intact. And that’s why chia seeds will be your ultimate bestie this summer. Packed with omega-3 fatty acids, fibre, and antioxidants, chia seeds promote heart health and good digestion. Furthermore, if you’re looking for a magical ingredient to help you in your weight loss journey, you need chia seeds. When taken before meals, they keep you full for longer hours, reducing your overall calorie intake.
Chia seeds must be soaked in water for some time to avoid any gastric discomfort. When soaked, chia seeds become jelly-like. But let’s be honest – plain, soaked chia seeds can get a little boring when you’re craving a refreshing drink. So, here are some easy recipes to enjoy chia seed drinks this summer.
