1. Azaad

Starring Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, and Ajay Devgn’s nephew, Aaman Devgan, Azaad is the debut movie of both the star kids. Set in the backdrop of India’s freedom struggle against the British, this is the story of a young stable boy. His eagerness to ride his beloved horse reveals his courage and India’s plight in the 1920s to free themselves from the zamindari system. Azaad also casts Ajay Devgn, Piyush Mishra, Diana Penty, and Mohit Malik. 2. Deva

Shahid Kapoor is all set to deliver the first action-packed Bollywood release of 2025 in January. Deva casts Shahid as the rebellious police officer investigating a high-profile case. 3. Chhaava

The film narrates the folk tale of the Maratha king, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna have prominent roles alongside Vicky Kaushal in this historical drama.

4. War 2

Another exciting movie to be in theatres in 2025 is War 2. Written by Aditya Chopra and Shridhar Raghavan, this movie is the second part of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War. The film brings the return of Major Kabir Dhaliwal as the nation faces another threat from the opposing forces. 6. 120 Bahadur

With Farhan Akhtar in the lead, 120 Bahadur is finally making its release this year. The movie recounts the 1962 Battle of Rezang La to honour the courage of Major Shaitan Singh and his men. The film further salutes the unmatched valour of the Ahir community as they fought against the odds to defend the nation.

7. Param Sundari

8. VVAN – Force Of The Forest

9. Sitaare Zameen Par

The title rings a bell to Amir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par (2007), right? But Sitaare Zameen Par takes on a different story, highlighting the issue of down syndrome. Through this movie, Aamir Khan is producing a Bollywood remake of a Spanish sports comedy-drama, Champions (2018). The cast includes Aamir Khan and Genelia D’Souza as the main characters of the movie. The film was announced by its director, R S Prasanna on his Instagram stories. The official poster and trailer are yet to be released.

10. Sikandar

Salman Khan is set to make Eid 2025 extra special with the release of Sikandar. The movie casts him in a dual role portraying his youthful version with a dark past. Cut to his present where he plays a civilised businessman. The crime thriller is loaded with action sequences making it a classic Salman Khan movie.

11. Alpha

YRF recently announced the title of its upcoming blockbuster movie starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the lead. The female-led spy thriller will cast these actors as spy agents. Alpha is the most awaited Bollywood release of 2025 as it promises stunning visuals, action scenes and much more.
