Starring Hrithik Roshan, N.T. Rama Rao Jr., and Kiara Advani, War 2 is finally out in theatres ahead of Independence Day. This is a sequel to the 2019 movie, War. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra, the trailer of War 2 hinted at a louder and deadlier YRF spy universe. Kabir Dhaliwal, a secret Indian spy agent, is conspiring against his own country. To prevent further damage, the higher authorities send Kabir’s former batchmate, Agent Vikram, a more lethal operative, to end his game. According to these X reviews of War 2, the fans are unhappy with how the sequel has turned out. Even though they loved the action-packed first half of the film, the audience seems to be disappointed with the plot. Many users have found the storyline too mediocre and the VFX overdone. But others are hooked to the entire movie owing to the star-studded cast. It seems the leading actors, including Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani, and Jr. NTR, have worked their charm on their fans. Featuring Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Vaani Kapoor, War (2019) introduced us to Kabir Dhaliwal, one of India’s top RAW agents. But he suddenly goes rogue and conspires to betray his own nation. The RAW team then sends Khalid, another agent, to hunt for Kabir. Turns out, Kabir is planning a secret mission to prevent a terrorist attack on India. And Saurabh, the man impersonating Khalid, is the real traitor. With a high-stakes plot and massive action, Kabir clears his name, and Saurabh is killed.

But in War 2, Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) actually becomes a threat, killing his own people. Enter Agent Vikram (Jr. NTR), who agrees to go after Kabir to settle his scores with him. What follows is an epic chase across countries, loaded with stunts, mind games and romance.

War 2 is now running in theatres.
