Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming movie Ulajh dropped its action-packed trailer, and we can’t wait to watch it. Kapoor stars as an IFS officer, Suhana Bhatia, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner, subjected to claims of nepotism by the people around her, especially men.
While Suhana, the daughter of a prominent family of patriots, is fighting claims of nepotism, she gets embroiled in a conspiracy that labels her a traitor. Away from her home turf, she is left to navigate through the murky waters by herself. With the entry of Gulshan Devaiah’s character, things take a twisted turn in the tale, throwing questions on not just him but also Suhana. Is he an undercover agent or someone shady? What business does Suhana have with him?
As the trailer proceeds, there are hints of an internal leak, with everyone in the Indian embassy in London falling under suspicion. Amidst this, the lives of two government undercover agents are also in danger, while Suhana Bhatia is missing for 24 hours. All of this leads to the question — is Suhana the patriot she claims to be, or is she a traitor that everyone around her has branded her?
Ulajh comes from the award-winning director Sudhanshu Saria, best known for Loev and Knock, Knock, Knock. Backed by the makers of Raazi, Badhaai Do and Talvar, Ulajh also stars Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang and Adil Hussain in pivotal roles.
