The movie follows Anne, an ambitious American student, as she travels to Oxford, England, in pursuit of her literary dreams. But an unexpected connection with her professor, Jamie, changes everything. Through late-night poetry sessions and library run-ins, they both fall for each other. As their romance blooms, Jamie steps back as his old fears about love haunt him. Will he confide in Anna or leave her stranded? The movie stars Sofia Carson, Corey Mylchreest, Dougray Scott, Harry Trevaldwyn and Nikhil Parmar in major roles. My Oxford Year is set to release on OTT this week (July 28-August 3, 2025).

1. Untold

Brace yourselves for a spine-chilling watch as Untold follows Vivian Vera, a journalist caught in a supernatural world. Vivian discovers that her success is built on lies and manipulation. Traumatised by the horrors of her past deceits, she starts seeing spirits and ghosts. The film explores the dark aspects of fame and success. Untold features Jodi Sta.Maria, Joem Bascon, Juan Karlos Labajo, Gloria Diaz, and Mylene Dizon among others.

1. The Stone

The Thai thriller film follows Ake, a broke teenager who unknowingly enters Bangkok’s dangerous black market. Ake sells his ill father’s precious amulet to cover his medical bills. The film dives deep into Thailand’s gritty underworld, where mythological beliefs and modern politics intersect. Directed by Arak Amornsupasiri and Vuthipong Sukhanindr, The Stone stars Jinjett Wattanasin, Korranid Laosubinprasoet and Itkron Pungkiatrassamee in prominent roles.

1. Panicked

American comedian Marc Maron is spiralling, and he’s taking us along for the ride. In his latest comedy special, Panicked, Marc dives into ageing, climate change, grief, existential crisis, and even his dad’s dementia. He uses comedy to throw truth bombs on all these serious topics. Marc Maron’s Panicked is hilarious and weirdly comforting. So, don’t miss its OTT release this week (July 28-August 3, 2025).
