The film follows Happy Patel (Vir Das), an NRI who lives with his British fathers, both of whom once worked as undercover agents in India. After failing the MI6 exam seven times, Happy is convinced he’s not cut out to become an agent. And just when he goes back to his love for cooking and ballet, MI6 contacts him. They recruit Happy as a spy to rescue a British scientist who has been kidnapped by Goa’s local female don, Mama.
