Four More Shots Please! Season 1 recap

In Four More Shots Please! Season 1, we meet four chaotic yet heartwarming women: Damini Rizvi Roy, Anjana Menon, Siddhi Patel, and Umang Singh. They overshare, overthink, and overdo everything together. Damini, a sharp, bold journalist, struggles with limited creative liberty at work. Simultaneously, she navigates messy sexual tension with her male gynaecologist and a slow-burn connection with Jeh Wadia, the bartender at the Truck Bar. Anjana, a lawyer, tries to balance single motherhood with moving on after her divorce. But she ends up losing custody to her ex-husband after a car accident.

Then comes Umang, a passionate gym trainer who is exploring her sexuality. She also falls for her client, famous actor Samara Kapoor, whose fear of public scrutiny complicates their relationship. And then there’s Siddhi, the youngest of the group, who battles body shaming at home, turns to webcam modelling under a fake name to seek validation, and finally finds love. But things take an ugly turn when her future father-in-law blackmails her to cancel the wedding.

Four More Shots Please! Season 2 recap

This season starts with the four besties dealing with the consequences of their choices. Damini discovers that she’s pregnant with her gynaecologist’s baby. She decides to co-parent the baby while having a serious relationship with Jeh. But unfortunately, Jeh breaks up with Damini, and her pregnancy also ends in a miscarriage.

Anjana finally moves on in her life and gives love a chance. But when things get serious between her and Arjun, she breaks up with him. She also kisses her ex-husband, Varun, who shows up drunk at her place. Simultaneously, Samara gets vulnerable with Umang about her sexuality and decides to marry her. But soon after the marriage, Umang divorces Samara as the latter fails to reciprocate with love and time. Siddhi, who earlier called off her wedding with Mihir, finds herself sexually attracted to Amit, a standup comedian. Four More Shots Please! Season 2 ends with Siddhi hearing about her father’s sudden demise due to a heart attack.

Four More Shots Please! Season 3 recap

Season 3 takes these chaotic queens on a deeper, more emotional ride as they chase closure, healing and some reality checks. Siddhi struggles to live happily after the sudden family tragedy. She battles depression and makes impulsive choices that make things even more difficult for her. Anjana is compelled to rethink her relationship with Varun. He even moves in with her as his girlfriend breaks up with him. But this decision interferes with Anjana’s newfound freedom and she is not okay with it.

Umang tries to channel her heartbreak into growth. But she ends up surrendering to temporary relationships as she fears getting hurt again. So, Umang hooks up with her co-worker, Sean. This season shows Damini as a more repressed person, dealing with loss, ambition, and love.

About Four More Shots Please! Season 4

The show’s final chapter portrays Damini, Anjana, Siddhi, and Umang in their healing era. Even though they are still flawed, they try to make choices that align with their true selves. The four friends will navigate their professional and personal troubles with utmost honesty in the last chapter. The last season will also introduce us to new characters played by Dino Morea and Anasuya Sengupta. Season 4 promises more sass and emotion that will keep you hooked.
