Ed and Arijit come together for a new track

In his interview with Heart, Ed said, “I worked a lot with this Indian singer, Arijit Singh, who is really good and really wonderful. He lives in the middle of nowhere in India. It is like a 3-hour flight and a 5-and-a-half-hour drive. I was in India with my dad. He (Arijit) was like, if you want the vocals, you would have to come to me.”

While this is their first official collab, Ed and Arijit shared the stage back in 2024, performing Ed’s famous song, “Perfect”. They were also seen riding on a scooter in Arijit’s hometown like two best friends hanging out. Ed’s been drawn to Indian music for a while now. Remember his iconic performance with Diljit Dosanjh, where he sang Diljit’s song “Lover” in Punjabi. And that’s not it; he also performed with Armaan Malik in Hyderabad back in February 2025. We can clearly see Ed Sheeran’s love for Indian music and artists, and now he’s making all of our dreams come true by collaborating with everyone’s favourite – Arijit Singh. And Arijit is no stranger to pouring raw emotion into his music, so pairing him with Ed, who’s basically the king of heartfelt ballads, just makes sense.
