The wait is finally over! After three years of the first film, the makers of Chhorii have finally unveiled the teaser of Chhorii 2. Fans of the original horror flick will be thrilled to see Nushrratt Bharuccha reprising her role as Sakshi, joined by Soha Ali Khan in a pivotal role. The horror-suspense-thriller follows the life of Sakshi, seven years after Chhorii ended. Directed by Vishal Furia, the teaser has given us a sneak peek into Sakshi’s new world, which is more horrifying and sinister.

Sakshi has moved on from her past along with her daughter, but her past isn’t ready to say goodbye yet. Sakshi’s daughter Ishani suffers from a rare condition that requires her to stay in darkness because sunlight can kill her. But soon, things turn for the worse, and Ishani is kidnapped by a ghostly figure. Sakshi is forced to move to the village of horrors and find her daughter, but something else awaits her there.
The teaser of Chhorii 2 looks eerie, chilling, and more sinister than Chhorii. Both Soha and Nushrratt seem promising in their roles. The teaser promises to deliver a haunting narrative much like its predecessor.

Recap of Chhorii: What happened in the first film

Chhorii follows the life of a young couple who are forced out of their house. As the woman is eight months pregnant, they seek refuge in a house in a sugarcane field to stay safe. But these fields hold secrets of the past that start to threaten the lives of Sakshi and her unborn child. As time passes, things get worse for the pregnant Sakshi, and she has to figure a way out of the fields to save herself and her child’s life.
