“An honest father, an insatiable son, and the consequences that lie within” – sounds intriguing, doesn’t it? Well, that seems to be the premise of a brand-new crime series coming our way. The trailer of Bambai Meri Jaan was released on social media platforms today. The series, releasing on September 14, is set in the 1960s and 70s in Bombay and tells the story of an honest cop, Ismail Kadri, whose son, Dara, joins the world of gang wars and dons who ruled the city then. Starring Kay Kay Menon, Kritika Kamra, Avinash Tiwary, and Amyra Dastur in lead roles, Bambai Meri Jaan will stream on Amazon Prime Video.

With superhits like Mirzapur behind them, the makers of this series will have high standards to live up to. And it looks like this series will deliver. Produced by Excel Media and Entertainment, Bambai Meri Jaan is directed by Shujaat Saudagar.
