After a long wait, Dharma Productions has finally dropped the trailer of their upcoming movie, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is set to release on October 2, 2025, in theatres. The romcom boasts an ensemble cast including Varun Dhawan (Sunny), Janhvi Kapoor (Tulsi), Rohit Saraf (Vikram), and Sanya Malhotra (Ananya) in lead roles. The trailer opens with an intense background score from Baahubali while Sunny enters in style to propose to his long-time girlfriend, Ananya. As he expects an equally dramatic ‘Yes’ from her, Ananya rejects his proposal. Months later, Sunny meets a new girl, Tulsi, while Ananya is marrying her love interest, Vikram. But Vikram also happens to be Tulsi’s ex-boyfriend. Turns out, both Sunny and Tulsi are not over their previous partners. Will they try to break their marriage to reunite with their exes? Produced by Karan Johar, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari also stars Abhinav Sharma and Maneish Paul, among other actors. Social media influencer Dharna Durga will also mark her debut in the movie, which has got her fans going crazy.

The actor previously amazed his fans with an intense, action-packed performance in Baby John in 2024. It’s a major comeback for Sanya Malhotra, as she was last seen in the movie Mrs, where she stunned the audience with her role. Her movie, Kathal: A Jackfruit Mystery, recently won the Best Hindi Feature Film at the 71st National Film Awards. After a powerhouse performance in the Mismatched series, Rohit Saraf also returns with his soft boy energy to steal everyone’s hearts.
