“Whenever you apply for jobs or sit for interviews, face the East to increase your confidence and clarity,” Isha says. She also recommends facing the North direction as it’s ideal to attract job opportunities and financial growth. “You must not face the South or Southwest while working, as they might block incoming job offers,” Isha says. It can also lead to financial instability and career setbacks. But this direction can benefit you in a different case. Here’s how.

Ideal Vastu directions to place an office desk

If you place your work desk in the Southwest, it will enhance your focus and skill-building capability, according to Isha. “It will also strengthen your position in the field you’re pursuing,” the Vastu consultant says. Isha suggests that job seekers place their work desk in the West. It supports a long-term career vision and stability.

These directional changes will work best only if you keep your desk clutter-free. Isha recommends removing broken pens, old papers, and empty containers. You must also avoid placing a dustbin near your office setup. “And if you can’t, you shouldn’t keep the bin open, as it signals waste and mental rejection,” Isha explains. Keeping certain Vastu-friendly décor items can also help you achieve success in your career.

Isha suggests placing a brass wall hanging of Surya Dev (Sun god) in the East to boost confidence and visibility. Are you aiming for international job opportunities?
