Azaad marks the debut of Ajay Devgn’s nephew, Aaman Devgan, and Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani. Are their debuts worth a watch? Read our review of Azaad to decide.
Who is Azaad?
The movie highlights the British rule in India through a horse named Azaad. Being a ‘stable boy’, Govind (Aaman Devgan) is stubborn in his dream to ride Azaad but lacks the required skills.
Is Azaad worth the hype?
The movie starts well with Aaman and Rasha’s witty banter but lacks emotional depth. It further slows down and remains at this pace for a while when it suddenly gallops again.
Highlights
Ajay Devgn's scenes with Aaman and Azaad add a layer to the movie. Other actors including Piyush Mishra, Diana Penty, and Mohit Malik have also performed well.
Aaman & Rasha's debut report
Both the star kids have made a good mark in their debut movie. Their performance is not top-notch but it’s not a disaster either.
The main hero of Azaad
Azaad, the horse, gracefully comes out as a strong character. All his neighs, laughs and sniffs add to the humour and emotionality.
