From everything glitter and glam to designs made through a female gaze, as usual, the couture week did not disappoint and mesmerised me. Designers from across the field put up a stunning show, with some collections absolutely stealing the spotlight.

1. Gaurav Gupta
Gaurav Gupta’s collection had one of the best colours of the season. It mirrored an early morning sky, with hues like white, ivory pearl, comet blue, petal pink, mauve, slate, sand, Bordeaux, and lava. The collection symbolises hope, renewal, and infinite possibilities, featuring intricate and colourful embroideries combined with Indian Zardozi techniques.
2. Jayanti Reddy
One designer who hasn’t disappointed in forever is Jayanti Reddy. With one of the best collections at ICW 2024, Jayanti Reddy showcased the rich cultural heritage of Hyderabad. It featured heritage textiles with antique motifs and traditional embroideries inspired by the lavish lifestyles of the royals.
3. Rahul Mishra

7. Roseroom by Isha Jajodia
Roseroom by Isha was one of the most beautiful collections at the couture week this season. Delicate lacework and soft pastel colours inspired by the grandeur of French architectural landmarks were blended with the artisanal heritage and modern, feminine strength.
8. Pearl Academy x Rimzim Dadu
Pearl Academy x Rimzim Dadu curated a fun, creative, and out-of-box collection, and I’m a fan. The water-like silhouettes, experimental textiles, and modern sculptures stole the spotlight. It draws inspiration from the timeless elegance of the Renaissance era.
9. Tarun Tahiliani
How can we talk about the best collections at ICW 2024 without mentioning the legendary couturier Tarun Tahiliani? The collection features embroidered motifs on sheer fabric, exuding a blend of modern and traditional glam, making it absolutely ethereal.
