Glamping or glamorous camping spots are fast coming up in India. You can enjoy the raw appeal of camping, while nestled cozily in the lap of luxury and lavishness. 1. Jaisalmer – the Heart of Rajasthan

Situated in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, Ranthambore is well known for its jungle safari and tiger spotting.

October to January. Monsoon season from June to September is also beautiful but not ideal for camping.

4. Kanha National Park- Bring out the Wild in You

5. Wayanad- the Backwaters of Kerala

6. Bundi- the Bird Lover’s Paradise

Ummaid Bagh, located a couple of kilometers from Bundi in Rajasthan, has 15 air conditioned luxury tents on a farm owned by Maharaja Rajendra Singhji of Dugari. Originally, the property was used as a royal rest house but is now a tranquil hideaway for tourists. The tents overlook a lake, and are surrounded by landscaped garden and mountains.

7. Ladakh- the Alpine Snow Desert

8. Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary- Away from the City Hustle Bustle

March to September

The Binsar Retreat is located at an altitude of 7,600 feet in Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, Uttarakhand.
