Spotted on some of the major runways this year, like the New York and the Milan Fashion Week, the Patchwork Fall trend is here to stay.

Patchwork can be worn in different ways. Be the sophisticated diva or the uber cool chic, totally depending on how you style it. Gather all the prints and patterns that you can find into one big mess right onto your shirt, coat, pants, jeans, bag, top and whatnot. When the 70s meets 90s meets boho, the final result is actually beautiful.

If you don’t think that messy can be beautiful and comfortable, let us show you some examples that are closer to home. Giving off a chic, laid-back vibe, here we have Alia Bhatt and Kangana Ranaut doing the airport fashion look just right.

Not only is it stylish but extremely easy to make. The next time you think of retiring an old shirt or a pair of jeans, hold on for a second because it might turn into a beautiful piece of art that you can wear. Check out our tutorial on how to convert a simple shirt into a grungy looking, over sized top perfect for travelling, and that too at a minimal cost.
