Winter might mean saying goodbye to your favourite summer shorts and dresses, but that hardly means that the season is all about keeping warm. Winter ensembles can be chic and stylish at the same time, if only you turn the bulb of ideas on. Jackets don’t have to be all grey and white, the key is to find a pair that keeps you warm and stylish at the same time.  If ever you find the tap of fashion ideas running dry, try out these next few styles. From greys, blacks and orange pops, winter is here to stay, and so are these next few shades.

1. This is no Fool’s Gold

Orange may be the new black for some, but we’re here to tell you that yellow might just be the new black. Layer up in style with this mustard blazer to complete your overall look. The knee length skirt beneath is the perfect end to the blazer. Complete the look with a set of brown pumps and shades.

2. The Sports Jacket

Combine this striped look with a pair of skinny jeans and heels. Platforms make the right statement, so resist the urge to resist them. A clutch or small purse could bring out the chic in you.

3. On route the feathery way?

Soft pastels of baby pink, blue and white line this shrug which runs from shoulder to knee. Wearing a white dress on the inside can create a softer look. A nice big handbag of any colour you like would be ideal to make this look scream out for attention.

4. Office Chic

A great way to layer up, without having to deal with the obvious temperature rise that comes with layering, is to create the illusion of layering. These sleeves stick to monochrome hues alongside a bow tie that adds a certain elegance to the look. A high rise pencil length skirt is exactly what you need to finish this look up.

5. A Splash of Colour

Crop tops are a great way to show off that midriff of yours. Add a dose of rust with a chic skirt and blazer set to take it up a notch.

6. Boho Chic Alert

This is a classic take on the plain white T. Invest in a good bohemian high rise skirt and tuck your T into it. That’s not all, the look might just be missing a few things, layers in particular. A nice maroon jacket or sweater can add a really nice vibe to this look.

7. The Carefree Look

If you want the carefree look that comes with the obvious laid back attitude, then try out this look.  A pair of olive cargo three fourths is complemented with a simple black sweater. While we do not want to go all in with the idea of the laid back ‘tude, you could go for a pair of sneakers or even a pair of high heels.

8. Soft Pink to the Rescue

For the ultimate look of class, trust white to do what you can’t. Add a baby pink bomber jacket to give the look exactly what it needs, a pop of colour.

9. The Style Statement

Team up your favourite skinny jeans with high rise heels, a sweater and a knitted choker for a suave evening look.
